Mecum's 23rd annual Spring Classic auction took place in Indianapolis, IN May 19-23. In total, 1,034 of 1,572 cars sold for $43,390,192. A 1963 Chevrolet Corvette built for Harley Earl was the top sale of the day at $980,500.



Bonhams' Greenwich auction took place on June 6, held in conjunction with the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. There, 52 of 78 lots sold, including a 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Mk II which took high sale honors at $265,500.



Barons returned to Sandown Park in Surrey, UK on June 15, selling 37 cars for a final total of $527,593. A Shelby Cobra 427 Replica by Dax was the top grossing car of the event, making $54,532.



RM's Classic Muscle & Modern Performance auction in San Diego on June 19 saw 102 no-reserve lots sell for $6,890,400. A 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 coupe made high sale honors at $401,500, but several Chevelles brought high prices as well, including a 1970 SS LS6 convertible that made $231,000 and a 1970 SS 396 that brought $88,000.



Mecum's annual all-Corvette sale at Bloomington Gold took place June 25-26 in St. Charles, IL, with 137 of 303 cars making $4,812,507. All generations of Corvette were well-represented, but a 1956 265/240 convertible was the highest priced, making $159,000.
